Active Target Sonar

last Monday was my first trial run at using live sonar to find and fish for Snook here in Jupiter. It worked better than I expected, especially for the first try. Being able to see exactly what the fish are doing is a game changer. This technology has only been around for a couple years now and if you don't have it you are really missing out. I was able see which direction individual fish and schools were heading. I saw obvious feeding behavior in deep holes, schools of bait showed up clearly and fish were pushing them around and eating them. Lowrance Active Target is compatible with Simrad NSS EVO 3 & 3S with the 20.2 software update. Attached is a four minute video of my first attempt using Active Target. www.dingosfishingadventures.com
